Emergency sandbags

We recommend buying sandbags before a storm. While we offer sandbags and sand at locations across the County, supplies may run out. Some locations limit the number of sandbags per household. We also recommend bringing your own shovel. Learn more about preparing for flooding.

Free sandbag locations are intended for use during weather emergencies. We recommend you purchase sandbags from local retailers in advance of storms.
